About Me


Based in London.

I paint quiet and distant places. With small outposts to humanity dwarfed by the surrounding legions of nature, ready to reclaim lost land. I like to depict the micro and macroscopic with traces of people and homes dotted about. Microscopes and telescopes to me are a long corridor but where they lead are further suburbs with little small gardens where a well might have been buried. I try and dig up the well, and like when you remove a brick settled happily in the soil, all the writhing and squirming is exposed and I like to paint that.
